Admissions to start School in September 2021 to August 2022

If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Reception or Years 1 to 6 during the next Academic Year then please click here.

Should you be unsuccessful in obtaining a place the appeals information is listed within the admissions policy.

Admissions to start Main School from September 2022

If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Year Reception starting in September 2022 then this will be handled directly by North Yorkshire County Council Admissions Department. You can find more information at www.northyorks.gov.uk/school-admissions.  Applications should be received between 12 October 2021 and 15 January 2022. In addition to the Local Authority procedure you will also need to complete a supplementary form for this school which is available here 

Admissions to start Nursery

If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's Catholic Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) please click here for an application form.  The latest admission policy for Nursery is available here.  Please note that admission to the Nursery does not guarantee a school place.

Appeals

You have a statutory right to appeal to an independent Admission Appeal Panel against a decision by the governors.  Appeal forms are available at https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/appeal-school-place along with details of the procedure should you wish to proceed.  If you require further advice please contact the Appeals Team, Legal and Democratic Services on (01609) 533385.  Forms should be returned to the Admission Appeals Office, North Yorkshire County Council, Room 12, County Hall, NORTHALLERTON, DL7 8AD or emailed to appeals@northyorks.gov.uk within 10 working days wherever possible.
